Privacy policy
In short: our apps collect as little as possible. We don’t sell data. Usage statistics and crash reports are sent only if you agree.

Who we are
Wakirox.app, by Marius Gabriel Magadan, is the data controller for wakirox.app and the apps Wakirox publishes. For any question: info@wakirox.app.
Rainy
- Forecasts: your approximate location, or the city you choose, is sent to Open-Meteo to get the forecast. What you type in the search is sent to Open-Meteo to find the city.
- Place names: the name of your location comes from your phone’s geocoding service (on Android, usually Google).
- Statistics and crashes: only if you agree, Rainy sends usage statistics and crash reports to Google Firebase. They never include your name, the places you look up or your exact location. Google derives your country and region from your IP address. Statistics are kept for 2 months. You can change your choice any time in Settings.
- Watch: the phone app sends the chosen city to the watch app over the Wear OS connection between your devices. The watch app asks for consent on its own.
- Rainy has no accounts and shows no ads. Your settings and the last forecast stay on your device.
- Until the next update, the version on Google Play (3.0.1) shows ads from Google AdMob, which may use your device’s advertising ID, and sends usage statistics and crash reports to Google Firebase without asking first. The update removes the ads and asks before sending anything.
ShowMeMore
- ShowMeMore uses the images you choose, the encrypted content, sharing identifiers and any protection you set (such as a password) only to share the content, give access to it and remove it when you want.
- The app may show ads (see “Other services”).
Tasse Forfettario
- Tasse Forfettario uses the values you enter only to calculate estimates. Estimates are for information and are not tax advice.
- The app may show ads (see “Other services”).
Other services
Some apps may use third-party services for statistics, crash reporting or advertising. Where the law requires it, we turn them on only after you agree. Each app’s Data safety or App privacy section in the store lists what it collects.
Apple and Google handle store downloads, purchases and accounts on their own. Some providers, such as Google, may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards the law requires (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).
Why, and for how long
- To make the app you use work (for example, to show you the forecast): it is the service you ask for.
- Statistics and crash reports: only with your consent, which you can withdraw any time.
- Security and legal requests: legitimate interest and legal obligations.
- We keep data only as long as these purposes need it.
The website and cookies
The website uses technical cookies that remember the language you read it in (pll_language and wx_lang: a link then opens the page in your language, picked from your browser's) and your cookie choice (cmplz_*); they last one year. Only if you accept statistics, it uses Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.), which sets the _ga cookies (up to 2 years) to count visits and see which pages are read; Google Analytics does not store your IP address. You can change your mind any time with the “Manage consent” button. The website shows no ads, and the fonts are on our own server. The hosting provider, Aruba S.p.A. (Italy), logs technical requests (such as the IP address) to run and protect the site.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, limit its use, get a copy of it or object to its use, by writing to info@wakirox.app. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
The apps are not meant for children under 14.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top. For important changes, we tell you in the apps first.
